Simple Womans Daybook

FOR TODAY
March 9, 2011

Outside my window...gray, rainy and chilly, burrrrrrrr!

I am thinking...about some of my children.

I am thankful for...Quiet, early mornings.

From the learning rooms...Silas, my youngest knows several letter sounds...not because I taught him but because of the learning trickle down effect.

From the kitchen...enchiladas for supper tonight and seeing as I have some fairly brown bananas, I think I'll be baking up some banana bread.

I am excited about...putting a new dolly in my shop today.

I am praying...for big things.

I am wearing...favorite denim skirt, long sleeved black tee, navy blue socks and sneakers.

I am creating...dress for Livia and dolls and doll clothes.

I am going...to the orthodontist today, high school graduation meeting and church tonight.

I am reading...my bible.

I am hoping...to start dressing another sweet dolly today.

I am hearing...happy noises children make...a bell ringing, whistling, and dishes being washed in the kitchen.

Around the house...The laundry is caught up and my laundry room is clean.

One of my favorite things...families that love eachother.

A few plans for the rest of the week: dress two dolls and put them in my Etsy, clean out bathroom cupboard, make Livia another dress.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...My two daughters. Sweet sisters.

  3. This is a beautiful post. I really enjoyed the part about Silas learning by the trickle down effect. Thank you for the fun comment you left on my weekly post about my daughter. I also enjoy her wit. It's fun to share.
